ReplyDeleteI'm a huge fan of his work, namely Nausicaa. Ponyo was really good too. The stuff he comes up with always seems to me like things that a Westerner would never think of.
Definitely--to steal a phrase from Wonder Showzen, he's "pure, liquid imagination."
